Hello, I’m Mataya Morales, proudly calling Raytown, Missouri my hometown. I’m passionate about education and currently wear two hats: one as a dedicated Pre-K teacher within the esteemed Lee’s Summit School District and the other as a full-time college student pursuing a degree in Elementary Education at Western Governors University (WGU).
My educational journey was greatly influenced by my experiences as a student-athlete. I’m a graduate of Raytown South High School, where I dedicated six years to volleyball, excelling as a Setter. This position demanded precision, leadership, and strong teamwork, and these qualities have shaped my coaching philosophy.
As a coach, my mission is to inspire, lead, and instill a deep appreciation for the wonderful game of volleyball in young players. Volleyball is more than just a sport; it’s a vessel for personal growth, teamwork, and lifelong skills. I’m genuinely thrilled to join the team, and together, we’ll embark on a journey of learning, growth, and achievement, both on and off the court. Let’s strive for greatness and create unforgettable moments in the world of volleyball!
