Meet trainer Amy Majors – Eclipse Volleyball Club KC. Amy Majors is a passionate and motivated personal trainer. She grew up being very active and played multiple sports throughout high school including volleyball, basketball, and track. During college, she played DII volleyball at Northwest Missouri State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. Three years later she earned her Master’s in the same field from Emporia State University. With this degree, she wanted to share her knowledge and passion to help students become better athletes and hopefully create healthy habits they will use for a lifetime.
Amy teaches aerobic, strength, & conditioning
She teaches aerobics, strength and conditioning, and various PE classes at Winnetonka High School, along with coaching volleyball. Her love of fitness and exercising inspired her to become a personal trainer for which she became certified through the American Council on Exercise in 2018.
Her personal training goal for clients
Amy’s goal as a personal trainer is to teach healthy lifestyle habits that not only transform clients physically, but mentally as well. She likes to use a variety of training methods to improve overall fitness levels and help clients reach their goals!
